Stainless steel basket - geiger

The stainless steel basket for roof drip traps (geigers) prevents rodents from climbing up.

Especially in cities, rats or rats chew up plastic bins of rainwater waste and then run around the houses. The geiger (flap or lid) alone usually does not prevent this, because when a really big rain comes or the drain gets clogged, the lid or flap will come loose. And if it doesn't, water runs down the facades and the damage is even greater. Quite simply, if you have leaky bins like we do, replacing them with stainless steel will solve the problem.
